Guidelines for lessons @ Dynamite Studios Australia
Dynamite Studios Australia takes pride in its presentation. All enrolled students are required to have the compulsory uniform.
No JEWELLERY including, watches, rings, bracelets or anklets are permitted into class. Earrings are acceptable. Students are to report any prior injuries to administration and teachers before the commencement of each class. Each Student is to ensure that they are on time to each lesson. Absenteeism accompanied by a phone call to administration would be much appreciated.

Class Room Ettiquette
Hair - All students are to wear their hair up (low bun or pony tail), neat and tidy and off the face at all times. Ballet - Hair is to be worn in a neat low bun with pins and net. Fringe and loose ends must be pinned.
Shoes - Legislation requires all students to wear the appropriate shoes.
Uniform - As presentation is important, each student is required to attend all classes in full uniform.

New Enrolments
Dynamite Studios Australia has an annual enrolment fee of $20 per student or $30 for a family, which is to be paid in full on enrolment of each new and existing student. This fee is a one off annual fee only. Enrolment days are Monday - Wednesday 3.30pm - 3.50pm, please make an appointment at administration.

Missed Lessons
Regular lessons are essential for your child/ren’s development. Special or extinuating circumstances can be discussed by appointment only.

Examination
Each year, students are invited to take part in yearly ballet and tap exams. All students wishing to participate must sign and complete the exam consent form and return it to administration before the end of Term 2. Examinations take place at the end of Term 3. Dates will be confirmed and posted on the website and in the weekly newsletter. There is a fee required to be paid prior to examination dates to secure your child/ren’s place in the examination schedule.
2010 results were excellent in all levels of both A.T.O.D Classical Ballet Exams and Glenn Wood and are a true reflection of the time, committment, dedication and preparation the studio offers in the exam process.

Payment of Fees
Fees are charged in school term blocks, regardless of the number of actual weeks in the term. A term account is sent out either via email or post, in advance at the commencement of each term. Fees fall due and payable at the first class of each term and can be paid at administration within the first week. All parents are encouraged to introduce themselves to administration within the first week.
A lack of communcation by parents regarding fees may result in students being restricted to classes. Late fees will attract an administration fee. Credit card and EFTPOS facilities are available.

Enquiries
Dynamite Studios Australia’s reception is manned Monday to Saturday, business hours are 10.30am-7.30pm Monday to Friday, Saturday untill 2pm. This is the first point for your enquiries. Office staff can handle almost anything, so direct common enquiries to administration. Miss Abbe will always make herself available for queries or discussions however an appointment needs to be made in advance. The best response is via email to abbe@dynamitestudios australia.com.au.

Discontinuation of Classes
Once a student is enrolled, a 4 week notice in writing is required before the end of the previous term. If classes are booked and the new term has commenced full term fees will be required. A great deal of planning, thought and creativity goes into establishing a studio yearly schedule. Co-operation in this matter is greatly appreciated.
Blue Cards - Working with Children
All of our staff here at Dynamite Studios Australia hold a current working with children blue card. All staff will treat children and young people with respect and understanding at all times. We will take all reasonable steps to keep children and young people in our care safe from harm.

Student Drop Off and Pickup
For you child’s safety, students are strictly prohibited to wait in the carpark day or night. This is regardless of the students age. Your co-operation in this matter is insisted.
